At Rockwell HS, Dale and Brantley had nicknames. Who remembers what they were? Did these carry over to the 11ty and 12th grades at ERHS?

I think so. I remember them as "Hick" and "Stick". Those sound like nicknames that would have gone way back, so I always presumed they came from their childhood years at Rockwell.
I'm enjoying reading everyone's posts and hope you will all keep it up. It really doesn't take much time once you get caught up and one learns a lot of interesting things -- for instance, I knew Dale and Brantly at one time had the nicknames Hick and Stick; however, what I've learned new is that Brantly was a Rockwell boy. Somehow I've always thought he was a GQ boy. You know we Faithites led an isolated existence prior to 1957.
